About VisiScan
VisiScan measures whether AI answer engines mention a business when buyers ask relevant questions. It preserves the questions, answers, competitors, citations, timestamps, and measurement provenance so a score can be inspected instead of taken on faith.
What we measure
A scan tests buyer-intent questions across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini. Results distinguish a mention from a recommendation, record competitors named instead, and pair answer evidence with a technical readiness audit. AI answers vary, so repeated samples are observations—not permanent rankings.
The complete scoring rules, weighting, limitations, and handling of unavailable providers are published in the VisiScan methodology.
Editorial standards
- Advice is written for people first and separates verified facts from interpretation.
- Changeable claims include a review date, and primary sources are preferred where available.
- VisiScan product comparisons disclose that VisiScan publishes them and avoid invented rankings.
- Schema markup must match visible content; unsupported credentials, reviews, and statistics are not published.
- Material corrections update the page date and replace the inaccurate statement.
